Donald Trump’s Plan to Address the Drug Epidemic

More people died from drug overdoses in 2014 than in any other year on record, and more than six out of ten of those deaths involved an opioid, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Overdose deaths from prescription drugs, such as OxyContin, methadone, Vicodin and now the deadly fentanyl, have quadrupled since 1999.

Donald Trump laid out his plan for addressing the drug Epidemic. Some of the key points in the Trump Plan would:

  • Allow for more medication assisted treatment
  • Reduce the amount of Schedule II opioids (drugs like oxycodone, methadone and fentanyl) that can be made and sold in the U.S

Getting people the help they need is very important and should be expanded.  The best treatment is preventing drug abuse before it gets to out of hand.  That is why it is so important to have the tools that you need to know if your loved one is abusing drugs.  That way you can get them the help early before things get out of hand and they do things they will regret later.  One of those tools is a drug test that tests for the most common drugs.  Drug testing can be expensive, if you go to the doctor.  It doesn’t have to be though.  You can get our drug tests that make it easy and convenient to test someone when you suspect that they may have been abusing drugs.
